Default kickstand issues

lately i've been having issues with my kickstand kicking back on me on my 2012 fatboy lo, and almost dropping the bike 3 times in the past month. It feels like it's not sitting correctly when i put it down. as soon as i turn the wheel to the left it hear it scrape and the bike starts to go down. suggestions?

There's a pair of brass bushes that are quite thin and prone to wear and distortion that are located in the slot that the pin sits in.

Worth changing as they don't cost much and could cure your problem.

BUSHING, jiffy stand (2)
Part no. 53176-08

Go to "you tube' and search for Jiffystand. There are several vides outlining service procedures. Pay close attention to the removal and installing the stand. The stand is actually used to remove and install the spring safely. Also wear goggles.

As Gaz B suggested I would check those bushing. I'm **** about things and changed mine out this spring.
May not be relevant as the parts guy told me I was the first person that had ever ask about them.
