Yes but it didn't feel right. I took the cover off to swap it out anyway.

Are you suggesting they slipped out from between the ramps?

If you think so, let me know. Kinda funny the way that the lever initially went "limp". Could they just do that all by themselves? Or was it when I adjusted the clutch?

I am trying to figure out how that could happen. I suppose it could, but then I would suspect that it was the effect, not the cause. Meaning something else is wrong.

Thanks for the input Dave. This just sucks. I guess I am going to have to wait till tomorrow and see what the dealer says.

Good luck! Please post what the issue is when you find out; I am very curious.

If you adjusted the clutch and allowed to much slack in the cable, those ***** can definately come out. However at this point I would do as suggested, the bike being under warrenty, let the dealer handle it.

So are the ramps held in differently on the 07's? I know that on the '00-'06 models, the ramps and ***** are held in the side tranny cover with a large snap-ring; if memory serves, you can't even get the ***** out when the cable is completely removed.

Maybe the snap-ring worked itself loose somehow???
