Sorry, but I dont link the fat boy, fat bob and the new M8.
Harleys with the radiator in the front, kill the look of the bike, totally.
In the fat bob, you put in the gas tank Yamaha, and perfectly can be a metric bike.
The bikes of 2017 (without M8),was in the perfect position, offers an unique style typical of Harley and an engine and a construction different to other brands.
Well you guys might think I am crazy but for once I like the look of the fat boy which I never did and it might just get me to buy one instead of the new breakout with it's sportster looking tank. What does it for me on the new fat boy is what you guys seem to hate, the new headlight and the rear fender
I'm right there with you... so much that I just traded in my 2017 breakout for the new FAT BOY 114 in Black Tempest. Should be in next week and can not wait!

Interesting. I had a Breakout, got tired of the wind blasting me in the face and went with a 2017 Ultra. Love both bikes. But given a choice between the Breakout and a 114 FatBoy I would pick the FatBoy. Yes for the look. The new FatBoy is a beast. Don't really give a **** about cornering with the fat tires. I got off Metrics years ago and gave up blasting through the corners. Love my Harley's (Ultra and a 2016 FatBoy). Please post pics! Ride Safe.

Actually to my surprise no... I was expecting them to lowball me, but they offered me 21k trade in value for the bike, however I spent about 7k in dealer installed mods (SE 110 Stage III Street Performance Kit, Bassani Pro Street exhaust, Heavy Breather SE, pegs and grips, Daylighter, CVO style speedo/tach, custom license plate, and various nut covers etc) which I was not expecting to recoup anyway. That said, I bet the bike will be on the floor for at least 26k. I pretty much walked away with a huge grin on my face.

Oh man... I dreaded the highway on my Breakout. I felt akin to a parachute and pretty much had a deathgrip on the bars. However, I too love the 2017 Breakout (2018 not so much), but the new Fat Boy is definitely the beast for me. If I want to flick around in the corners, I'll hop on my Sumo (DRZ400-SM). If I want to steamroll some ****, I'll hop on the Fat Boy lol
As posted previously, they offered me 21k (Canadian) which I gladly accepted. I thought they would only offer my 15k or so judging by the dealer trade in horror stories on these forums. I read that someone was only offered 8k for her 2017 Breakout with a stage V, air suspension and other mods...
