so I've been trying to get in to the Harley game for awhile now and I finally did! I came across a deal I could not refuse. I got my hands on a pretty clean 1996 harley softail heritage with 8k original miles
There are things I like about it and things I don't . I love the style of the bike even though I'm missing a lot of parts that make it a heritage but it has potential. I don't like the wheels the bars and the color ! But the color is starting to grow on me ... with that being said I jumped on the iPad and put google to work. I've been searching thing and finding a style or my own style I wanted to go with the bike . I've owned the bike for about 3-4 weeks now I've already made my first purchase .
front wheel is a 21x2.25 and the rear is a 18x5.5
almost every one I've asked or talked to says that the rear wont fit but I've measured and I'm pretty sure I can make it work . Let's see

Nice! Those Evos are the most bulletproof power plant Harley ever built. Period! But you WILL feel that Harley vibration, which is all but gone on the new models. Could numb your hands and feet on longer rides, but those carbed Evos are the last real Harley's in the opinion of many purists and older riders. You can idle them way down and hear that steady potato-potato sound, too, which is something you just can't do on Twin Cams and M8s. I'm kinda jealous. I'd really like to have an Evo springer.
