I've been looking for a new seat for my '05 springer classic. I'm looking for a two-up option that is comfortable for the passenger as well but I am trying to find a seat with the lowest possible profile. Something that is comfortable for a few hundred miles before getting numb without the look of a recliner on the rear fender. I'd prefer a two piece but am open to any suggestions. I doubt I'm the only one that likes a clean look without too much bulk, can anyone make any recommendations?[sm=burnout.gif]
Ok, let me re-phrase this...let me ask the fatboy owners since there are soo many of you...have you swapped your stock seat for an oem??? If yeah, what do you think...any good, comfortable, look good...etc????
Hey Coaster, I have a Saddlemans "Explorer" with the gel pads and it is comfy!! The wife would complain about the stock badlander seat on my Train after ten miles, but I can put 150+ on the new seat and feel fine. www.saddlemen.com is their website and I highly recommend them for service and comfort.
CHuck
Mustang touring seat.I believe the rider seat is 17" and passenger is 14" ,maybe more.It is a comfortable seat for both..2 conchos on each side and braided around the edges. It is by fair the best seat I have tried .Better than thr Corbin I took off...around 400.00
Here is a pic of the wife's Softail Heritage with a Corbin Dual Tour seat. She has ridden 650 miles a day on it with no problems. We rode it two up for 450 miles once and were comfortable. They are a little pricy, but the most comfortable seat you can get IMO.
