It seemed my engine vibrated alittle more when i hit about 10,000 miles. Could be my amagination. I heard the softail engine will vibrate alittle more when broke in good. My vibration is the buzz sensation you get when youhit about eighty. If you are talking suspension tire related vibration look at post earlier.

i had a local dealer change the rear rotor today because it was badly warped, he also balanced my rear tire and checked all bushings/bearings in swingarm. this vibration seemed to have happened after a real hard ride/racingfor about five miles. i parked it and next day noticed it. it seems to come after bike is warm and gets worse with rpms. my buddy told me to change the plugs that they could be missfiring. i have adjusted my exhaust, checked mounts, fluids. i was also told i could have put the crank off balance if i over revved it. the latest work i did to it was sunday morning the day before it started to vibrate. ireinstalled the jackshaft bolt after it came loose, i put loctite on it which i am told now is a no no. why? i put one litre of primary fluid in and drove it for the day without a problem could i have missed something in there. the only other thing i can think of is for the last three weeks i have been getting a scrub noise from what sounds like the front belt pulley. it just sounds like the belt on the pulley. any ideas. its driving me nuts that i cant figure it out.

If it started after you worked on it I would go back to what you worked on and check things out.Is it all adjusted or torqued properly? Isthe beltlined up properly and tracking straight? Is the belt tension adjusted correctly? All the drivetrain is under constant strain and do wear out and cause problems eventually.Tuff to diagnose from here.Like I said before ,sometimes we can be our own worst enemy when trying to fix things/ re-check your previous work.I've done it myself so don't feel bad if you missed something initially.Hope this helps
