1600 miles on my 2018 FXFBS
Well so far I have 1600 miles of seat time on my FXFBS. This is by far the best handling HD that I have ever ridden. This is my 3d HD with the same inverted front forks which I very much love. My one issue with the new forks Fat Bob forks are that they are not adjustable. Luckily I purchased a spare set of the adjustable forks for my 2010 XR1200. Direct fit no mods required to put them on the Fat Bob. Now I have a fully adjustable suspension. My question is why Harley did not add this at least to the 114's. They also need to add a line on the Mono Shock adjustment so I can see what the actual setting is as I get 2 clicks per rotation of the adjustment ****. The other bike that uses the same front forks is my 2016 Roadster which is another great handling bike but just too darn small to ride comfortably. The part number for the XR 1200 performance suspension is 5430-10 for $1499.95 however you end up with a pair of adjustable piggy back sportster shocks that will not have a home. HD needs to either sell the adjustable forks without the rear shocks, or put the adjustable forks on the Fat Bob right off the start.

Sounds like some fun miles. They've known for years we'll buy the bike with whatever crap suspension they put on it...I'm just glad this year they are a solid improvement.
I do t have the external adjuster **** on my Heritage, but you could use a gold paint pen and make a few subtle marks for yourself as you dial it in.
