You have the tq cam and are about to get dyno tuned. Your pioneering is about to vastly help the community with what to really expect from the cam and prove if HD chart is right or they mixed it up. This is like Nobel peace prize stuff here. Lol
Oh, in that case, glad I can help. But on a serious note, I understand completely. I was thinking about it today, it’s going to be interesting to see the chart. Bob at RC Cycles in Hayward is soppose to be one of the best tuners on the West Coast. I know his perfered tuner is the MasterTune. I think my painter is waiting for a pair of ‘18 CVO Two piece bar and shield emblems to see if maybe we go with those.
By the way, to those of you who thought like I did that the stock Fat Boy emblems were plastic, they are not. They are actually heavy gauge metal emblems, I was surprised to hear that. I’m probebly going to stick with the stock emblems but if my painter can get his hands on those restricted CVO emblems, I may go that route.
Thanks everyone.....
All that satin stuff looks like plastic. Hoping you go chrome with the engine and valve covers and wheels in the future
To me, in person, the satin looks nothing like plastic. Some may not like the look, but it looks like metal. Conversely, I once almost bought a genuine HD part for a Road Glide in Chrome, but at the last minute I didn't because it turned out to be actual chromed plastic!!
I love the Satin, when the market catches up I want the sound of short shots, but If the finish never comes. I will settle with slip-ons to hide behind the satin chrome. Maybe its the paint of the bike, but with my white, satin must stay, I can see a black going all chrome . Everyone has there own taste.
It just goes to show our differences in taste, and I can appreciate that. I saw a pearl white Fat Boy come off the truck the other day and although I thought the paint was simply awesome, it appeared to me to clash with the satin chrome finishes, I was thinking how awesome against a chrome or black theme it would look. But that’s just my own opinion and I’m glad Harley does a good job to provide a varity of products to satisfy different tastes.
