I'm still waiting for a Power Vision tune and a clutch cable. Took it off the lift today to put another bike up. The only thing else I may need is a seat to get myself moved back. Going to give Chuck at C&C Seats a call to see what he's working on. Love the bike, can't wait to ride her....

I am curious about how it handles with those handlebars since the 2018 has wider tires than previous years. I think it's a 160 up front and a 240 out back. It's a genuine question not a criticism.

Nice work.

Looks Sick!
How hard was it to re-rout the wiring for the license plate holder? I'm thinking I'd want to do that same treatment to my Fat Bob when it comes in.

It does look good but if you plan on a swing arm bag, it will be in the way. An axle mount would be better. That is what I bought.

That's a real good question, and to tell you the truth, not somethng I put a lot of thought into. Now you have me quite curious. I can't ride it because I'm waiting for the clutch cable which I'll have at the end of next week. We will see, I'll get back to you in regards to this issue, which I hope there won't be..
Rich

I ran the license plate wire on the inside of the swingarm top tube, clean and no problems....

No intention of ever mounting a swing arm bag..

I know this is the Softail section but I thought I'd share a photo of the '17 Road King Special I just finished. And I have to say, after putting quite a few miles on the Fat Boy and loving every one, this Road King is about the best handling, performing, most comfortable bike HD has ever produced, rides like a dream. This is just my opinion....

'17 Road King Special..
