Ha. True...With my luck they'd get it first try. I'll just leave the gun on the seat with a note asking them to shoot themselves.

It has been around for years. I do not know how many but definitely for years. At least 7 years if not longer.

Correct. But it is the matter of where you want to draw the line. No matter what you do to the ignition, I understand it can still be lifted up off the ground and put on to a pickup truck. That has never happened to me or anyone I know of that I am aware of.

It is unlikely to happen I would say and certainly not worth more inconvenience on the part that may be someday someone is going to try to steal it. If they wanted that bad the going to get it no matter what anyway.

The answer I believe is actually 5 factorial. Or maybe a possibility of 1 out of 9,999. <-- That would be a long time to sit there guessing.

My '93 Heritage Classic has been keyless for a long time thanks to this coded push button ignition switch.

Thanks for the pictures that clears all this up.
Just wondering how long before these appear in the P&A catalog?

Most bike thieves use vans...pull up...4 guys jump out and toss the bike in the van...ignition locks...rotor locks...fork locks are a waste of time...the only thing that will slow them down is having bike connected to an immovable object with something that is time consuming to cut...good insurance is the best defense.
