Just installed the Hogworkz LED Halo headlight in my breakout and it seems to have moisture inside. Has anyone else had this happen? Is this something I need to worry about?
I installed their headlamp and passing lamp kit on my Heritage. After getting caught in hard rain one of the passing lamps fogged up. It cleared up after a few days but I contacted them and voiced my concerns. They promptly sent me a replacement and ask that I return the one that fogged up after receiving the new one. So far, the new one has been clear after rain and washing.
For what they cost I would ask them to warranty it.
The only rain that I have gone thru is on the day I rode it home for the first time and that was about a month ago. I just installed it on Thursday and there has been no water yet. I will give it a bit then if it persists I will give them a holler!
I am semnding back my second one now due to the moisture issue, I really liked th elook of it but 2 in a row with same issue , soured my taste for this light and will try something else for my 2017 streetbob.
I have 4.5 blackout halomaker LED passing lamps and I contacted hogworkz today for the moisture issue and they told me it's a common thing and will go away. Well sorry bud! But it's not a common when it happens everytime I ride for multiple hours at a time unless the seals are faulty or the light is simply made poorly. I'm an electrician and install LED lights for a living and this is not common in lights that are working properly. In comparison my $90 knockoff brand LED main headlight has never had moisture in it. Waiting on a reply from their support team but I won't be keeping these super expensive POS lights. Also so far the customer service is subpar. Should've just bought something else off Amazon. At least there I could return them with out all the bs and being lied to.
Dont worry, in the back of the led headlamp have breather....when there are big changes of temperature the moisture appears but in a short time it disappears.

Have you ridden at night with the light? I have one and I'm not impressed with it. Light is pretty widely scattered and not useful. I don't do much night riding so I've just ignored it.
As far as customer service I'm surprised they're not on top of your problem. I have a set of Hogworkz Softail Conversion bags on my 2002 Fat Boy. One of the brackets broke after about a year. They replied to me within an hour. On a weekend. Sent me 2 replacement brackets right away.
