Well I got fed up with the heat and poor performance of my Bassani PRO STREET EXHAUST SYSTEM TURN OUTs along with the FP3 as a tuner. I installed the D&D Bobcat and ThunderMax today and man what a difference. The bike pulls like a SOB and the heat was cut by 150 degrees on the pipes at the manifold as per IR thermometer. Not sure if I'm crazy about the looks of it on a Slim, but the performance makes up for it. I have a BSL custom system coming next week from Austria, but that's a winter project.
Sweet upgrades and glad they brought down the heat. I'm working on something similar w/my '17 FXDLS...Firebrand52 2-1 exhaust & Dobeck AFR+ tuner...can't wait for a "longer" test run. Enjoy!

Yeah it was the ThunderMax that brought the heat down. The wideband O2 sensors really allow for a wider range. As I side note, I had a 2015 Dyna Lowrider with V&H 2-1 and I hated them. Mainly because every other Lowrider on the road had them mounted.
The ThunderMax is a good tuner, but getting the best out of it requires a good working knowledge of EFI, the tuner itself and the Smartlink software...or knowing somebody who does.
Pat yourself on the back, because you recommended it.
Thanks!
Where is my commission check? lol
Not many softails have the bobcat and I bet that, wherever you go, folks are going to have a lot of questions and positive comments. I think the pipe on your bike makes it stand out from the crowd...looks great.

Check is in the mail Yes, I'm not one that likes having the same pipes as every other bike on the road (i.e. V&H which are fine pipes). I actually have BSL in Austria fabricating a setup for me, but it'll be winter by the time I get it.
