Showing off/looking for next step
Just managed to post an album of sorts at below URL. Take a look and let me have some feedback. If you click on photo it will magically become larger. Seemed like a good place to put free photos and easy enough too. Thought some of you may be looking for a place for yours. I plan to revisit now and add info for each photo. Site is in techicolor so you can see the bike is black John

I like the spoked (wire)wheel look up front....maybe much later I'll find an aftermarket better quality replacement. I also keep an eye out forcast spoked that have a "light" look. IMHOthe black control podsbreak up the expanse of chrome, but have replaced switches in past with chrome and might on this one too. The grips are sorta chromieand the HD pullbacks are chrome instead of stainlessstock bars. I am planning to replace front brake master cylinder cover with chrome ....maybe Father's Day....already did rear master cylinder cover(which never gets seen except byroad kill). The front brake line is stainless now and am considering the clutch cable as well but would probably leave throttle cables black. I never "want for" chrome since I am blessed with a wife who is a friend, rides, and is a chromosexual....her '04 1200C makes my '05 Deuce look like it was built byan Amish community. In a few minutes I'm riding her 1200C over to my son's to attempt reshaping the stock seat for her....they have an electric knife....I may take some pictures during the process, and if the transformation is successful I'll post them. Keep ideas coming please....John
You kidding.... what else to do? Man, the bike is totally tight. I mean you got everything. I think the front wheel looks awesome and wouldn't change it.
I think you're finnished dude. Bike looks great.

If you like the look of the solid rear wheel, you could get the chrome version. That's what I have on mine. Or you could go with one of the aftermarket Smoothie rear wheels. Either of those two wheels will allow you to keep the spoked wheel up front and it won't look odd. You could also go to a spoked rear wheel if you wanted to go that route. Another suggestion is to go with a lower profile seat. Something like the Stripper seat from Harley. Or even go to a solo seat since your wife has her own bike. That would open up the rear fender more and give the bike lower, smoother lines. You could always put the two-up seat back on in just a couple minutes if your wife was gonna jump on the back with you. Also, if don't ride two-up very often, you could drop that rear end more. Lowering the front would give the bike more of a pro-street look too. Those are just some suggestions. I think your bike looks good the way it is. Everyone has their own taste and their own reasons for doing things or not doing things. Take other's suggestions and recommendations for what they're worth. Pretty much, they're worth what you paid. Nothing. Unless you feel like paying me!
The chrome rear wheel is a very good idea. When tire time comes I'll probably do that along with a SE 180 tire. The bike is down 1" in front and 1 1/2" in rear already and that is plenty for ride quality. The Sorrento seat is actually quite a bit bigger in rear than the stock shown on bike in pictures. It is way too comfortable in front to consider another seat but I will almost certainly reduce the rear myself very soon. Bring the LePeraq profile back similar to stock in rear. My typical passenger, grandchildren, would have a big grin sitting on a 2x4. The low seats that look best, such as the Gunfighter I tried, are just too much of a comfort compromise for the rider. I did my wife's 1200C seat today just to get close to "bucket" as you can on a Sportster. Carved out a more vertical step/backrest, deepened seat itself a little by removingsome foam and added a bit to front of reshaped step to get her closer to bars. I rode it home and it feels better to me but she will be the harsh judge tonight. The Sorrento seat will be easy to reshape but the stitching design may be a problem.I do appreciate the compliments on my Deuce, giving me confidence that I am on the right track. John
