Default Chrome housings, Brake, Master Cyl

I did a search but didnt come up with much in regards to what everyone is doing to replace the stock black housings on the bars and replacing with chrome. The bike is lowered, pipes will be here Thurs so I am now moving on to replacing the stock bars. I am still undecided really last minute between beach bars and apes but I do know that when it comes time to install I want everything surrounded by chrome on the bars.

Everyone who is running the chrome housings and master cyl are you having the stock ones chromed? Purchasing the HD kit $548 + or are there other options? I want to start piecing this together soon. Here is a quick pic of where she sits now... just picked it up stock on the last week of April.

I rode mine home brand new and replaced the stock black with the HD chrome.
Check the part numbers at https://shop.zanottimotor.com/ for a nice savings.

I cant seem to find it, but there's a less expensive kit from HD that covers the whole master cylinder - not as good as a chrome master cylinder, but easier on the budget and not bad looking - will edit the post when I find it.

I put a chrome cover over the master cylinder. The Kuryakan kit is nice and not too expensive. The only part not covered is the hydraulic line where it bolts to the M/C. The HD kit provides a cover for that as well. I should have gone with the HD kit. Not much difference in price.

I don't prefer the covers. I got mine at cycle supply a few years ago for $130 for control housings, master cylinder, clutch bracket and leavers. They have been great. Chrome is good and fitment was fine. They are sleeker than the hd set as well. Absolutely no regrets.

I ordered these a few years back. They have performed well and chrome quality is on on par with the H/D stuff.
