I'm with ya on that Kojax. All the efforts on style were put on trying to make a 50's lookin' bike with modern pop. I mean, black rims, black spokes, black motor, etc., etc. My Harley must have chrome, not disappear in the shadows. But as shown in many posts, there is a large camp that likes the new look. This is the new Moco, like it or not. R.I.P.
Everyone buys what they like. Why make it a point to tell others who made their choice that their bike looks like crap? There are bikes from all manufacturers that I don't care for but I won't make a post just to let their owners know that.
It's fair to criticize the company if you don't like the direction they're headed. Just don't criticize another's choice for buying into it, the OP and nobody else did that here.
What owners do to their bikes though, it's their property. Just shake your head and move on. I have to do that a lot with some of these builds I see here.

It wasn't always all about chrome...
....although I have nothing against chrome done well too.
It's all down to what you like as an individual. I hate chrome and spent thousands blacking out my last bike. My new 2018 is done already apart from the levers for some weird reason!
The bike may be a little more expensive, but I don't have to spend all the $$$ to black it out this time. I call that a win.
Oh - and it's lighter, faster, more powerful, safer and handles better into the bargain.
