Default Footboard swap

Hi there, does anyone know for sure if a fatboy footboard set up 2001 will fit a night train 05 please? Thanks.

That's a good question as I plan on fitting Fat Boy footboards to a new Breakout. I'm pretty sure they're all interchangeable with the same frame mountings etc, so providing they don't actually hit anything, it should be possible. But has anyone tried such swaps?

I would say that they most likely will, as the frames are the same. I just installed floorboards from a 2008 Crossbones on my 2005 FXST Softail Standard. I also kept my Arlen Ness forward control extensions, but am considering removing those soon. I only had to get a new kickstand, as they are different. I would think it would be a direct swap for you.

The X-bones brackets fit on a Rocker (with a few spacers) from the same year, so most likely if you get boards from the same year as your bike they are likely to fit
