Looking to replace all the stock suspension with top of the line Ohlins. Would love to purchase from a vendor here at HD forums. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Howard at Motorcycle Metal here on the forum is your Ohlins hook up. Should be in vendors. He builds them to your weight and ride style. Good prices too. Straight and to the point.
Spoke to Motorcycle Metal and Ohlins doesn't make suspension for softails anymore. He said I could go with Progressive, which what I just got quoted from someone, $1800 installed.
Comes with a dial similar to the new baggers to dial up the load for resistance

I just picked up some open box progressive shocks off ebay for $255. I haven't installed them yet...they are the old style without the remote adjustment.....a guy I ride with was at the Ohio bike week an he was considering the shot gun shock air ride an they were offering it for $1800 installed at one of the vendors. that's a lot better use of $1800!
Not long ago you couldn't read the words softail and Shotgun Shocks not being together in the sentence. These '17 and down bikes really like the Shotguns. Big money, but Shotgun is to Softails what Motorcycle Metal is to Touring. Absolute and total blind obedience and loyalty. But for good reason. You will pay but they are the best. http://www.shotgunshock.com/#&panel1-1
