Default LED Turn Bulbs

Looking for some LED Bulbs that are both good (bright as hell) and will actually fit the 1157 and 1156 turn light sockets. Tried three different brands and none will actually turn in and lock in the sockets.

Anyone had any luck?

+1....

I just put Custom Dynamics in my '01, and the bulbs just went right in the Oem sockets.... I did need a signal stabilizer, though...

Custom Dynamics is too expensive. That's a lot of money I can put elsewhere on the sled.

Not looking to swap out full light assemblies, just regular bulbs.

Along these lines...

Amazon Amazon

Problem is most of these I've tried won't fit the Harley sockets even though the 1156/1157 mount is supposed to be a standard fitting.

I have not tried them, but my Walmart carries those led bulbs. At least it’s a local purchase and easy to return if they don’t fit.

Tried Walmart, returned them. Tried a couple off Amazon, trashed them.

Might have found what I'm after.

Will report back.

Thanks Avi, but really want something both cheap and can have spares on hand. Aside from being expensive, CD is a bit proprietary for me. It's almost 2018, these things should be both cheap and interchangeable by now.

Maybe you'll find some useful information here without throwing more good money after bad.

No worries...BTW, I use the LEDs in your link(s) on my 2004 BMW R1150 RT and they aren't to bad. Not as bright as CD, but noticeably brighter them OEM
