On the right down tube, they both have the manufacturers' sticker. Both bikes' stickers look the same, but with different VIN and tire data.
On the left down tube, they have their emissions compliance stickers. The '01 is from Oaklahoma, so it has the 49 states emissions label. The '03 is form California, so it has the CA emissions label. The CA emissions require a cannister for the gas tank vent that the 49 states bikes don't have.
I took pics of the '01 manufacturers' sticker in 3 parts, so you could see most of it. I blocked out the serial number of my VIN.

Here is the Emissions sticker for the '01 49 states sticker:

Here is the Emissions Sticker from the '03 CA certified sticker:

Hope this helps.....
I've read posts from guys talking about taking the stickers off because they don't like the look..... It's just one of the many things ignorant owners do that make shy away from buying used motorcycles...
Good Luck...!

Gotta ask why......???
There are enough pics to identify each type of sticker and to identify which one you have/need.....
If you're looking to get a complete pic of sticker, so you can replicate a fake one... you'll need to find another accomplice...
