Default Low profile air cleaner for ST Slim?

Hello All,

I have a 2017 slim 103ci with a stage 1 tune. My current air cleaner is the screaming eagle chisel extreme billet air cleaner HD P/N 29400220. I really like the round air cleaner shape but it does hit my leg when applying the rear brake. I would like another air cleaner that is lower in profile but still in the round shape? I know there are oval options but I just don't like the style. Any recommendations are appreciated. It must be high flow of course.

Thanks!

I also have a ‘17 Slim with a Stage 1. I’ve tried 3 a/c covers on it, and the one with the smallest profile so far has been the Harley Smooth Round Chrome cover.

Looking for the same solution. I was actually thinking about getting a different brake pedal setup that sticks farther out but this would be way easier.

The Outlaw 587, which is The Lowest Profile AC on the market(that we know of), would be great for both of you guys' needs. Really allows for more leg clearance.

Here is LINK to our Outlaw HiFlow 587 Systems.

I installed S&S stealth with 2-1/4" round air filter and nostalgia HD cover (stock would be fine too) and this looks awesone on Slim. Nostalgia cover keep old school look.

+1 I'm running the Outlaw 587 and it is the slimmest AC that I have ever used on any of my HD's.

Personally I prefer full cover on filter element. No socks or stockings on filter required and washing bike is easier. I am all about functionality

As stated, the Bobber Cover works exceptionally well when you're looking to keep your filter element covered.

Here's a pic of our Black Bobber Cover:

We have this cover in Chrome, as well. It's also available in a Smooth Style:

Thanks for the replies! I was hoping there was another air cleaner filter being used that has a free flowing lower profile. It looks like a flat plate cover or thin round cover will gain about 5/8" instead of using the machined aluminum billet?
