Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my new bike that I recently got, 2018 FATBOB 114 in vivid black!!, mods include screamin eagle spark plugs, wires, blacked out levers and defiance grips, vance and hines FP3 and finally got my Bassani sweeper 2 into 2 exhaust!!! Love the way it looks and sounds!!! These are not the best pix but its what I got for now. I just feel that the sweeper design fits the bike so much better than other exhausts on the market right now.
Here is a vid of the exhaust, enjoy.
Looks awesome! I wanted to ask you how you like your Fatbob? I'm debating on a Fat Boy, but I now really like the look of your bike with that ugly stock exhaust gone! Do you love the way it handles? Thanks
Love the fat bob, went to a demo day wanting a fat boy, and fell in love with the handling and presence of the fat bob. It is so much more comfortable and handles so much better than the fat boy for me that I could not justify getting the fat boy and modding it to fit me when the fat bob was already perfect. I had a street glide and it wasn't a fun bike, the fat bob is a blast!!!!
How much weight savings do you think changing exhaust created? Do you ride much on the freeway, how do they sound then? Looks really nice!
thanks for all the comments guys, I dont think the weight savings are much, maybe 10-15 pounds? I do ride on the freeway, not much but some. At this time I only have a half helmet so the wind noise is pretty strong. at cruising speed i dont hear it much but when I get on it, everyone hears it.
next on the agenda? well, just enjoy it and put some better turn signal lights, when the warranty ends in 2 years I will install a cam, by that time there should be some better cam options.
