stage 2

Thinking of doing the stage 2.
Already have stage 1 of course.
I will add the street cannons and the 255 cams

When I bought my '12 Limited, I had A Stage II done on delivery. I wanted the cams to be part of the 2-year factory warranty. I had a cross country trip planned for just over a month after delivery. The cams being under the factory warranty was important to me, for that reason....

The only choice, at that time that would not void the factory warranty, were the SE255 cams.

They are a good cam... pull hard from low RPM, but they do run out of steam... Because they are an EPA cam, they do tend to run a little hot, even after adding an aftermarket (non-EPA) tune.

I would not install SE255s again. While pleased with the SE255 performance, there are so many other options that would be much better.....

In fact, I was planning on swapping out the SE255 cams for Andrews 48H cams, but I traded the '12 in for a '16.... The '16's warranty just ran out and it will be getting the A48H cams....

Something to think about....
