Default Will a '17 Road King brake lever fit on a '17 Fatboy?

After installing an intake, I have to move my toe in towards the bike in order to hit the brake pedal. Upon inspection, the Fatboy pedal barely extends to just over half the width of the floorboard, whereas the Road King pedal hovers over the entire width of the footboard. The Road King pedal lever has a greater angle in order for the pedal to hover over the entire width of the footboard. The Fatboy brake pedal lever has no angle, sticks straight up and as a result the pedal doesn't reach out nearly as far. The difference is dramatic. The Road King brake lever LOOKS like it would work on the Fatboy. Wondering if anyone has made such an improvement. Not interested in the Kuryakn "pedal extender". I know that accessory is out there, I would prefer a better solution.
