I'm slowly working my way through the process of putting 16" apes on my 2015 Heritage. Electrics extended, throttle cable changed and putting on the clutch cable now.
I got the clutch cable through my local HD dealer (HD product). Its the right length, but the adjuster section sits across the ABS unit, instead of alongside the frame downtube. (as per the original cable). Checked the part numbers (in "Harleys Handlebar Installation Requirement" document) and it would appear to be the correct cable, but it just doesn't look right.
The cables changed between the 2014 and 2015 models (not quite sure why as far as I'm aware the clutch/bar were the same.)
Can anyone on here that's done a similar handlebar change tell me if they used the 2014 extended cable successfully on their bike?
PS Part No 38926-09A is what I've got, but looking into possibly using P/no. 38857-09A.
I'm not sure if a 2014 cable will work on a 2015, but the part # that you say you have (38926-09A) is definitely the correct cable for a 2015, according to HD.
