Most Lo owners go brawler. I'm going blacked out classy cruiser. That's a world of different parts between the two visions. You can also go Bobber, another world of difference. I've seen a few here take perfectly sweet softails and turn them into rat bikes.

Handlebars, for instance, I have the same complaints about reach. Street slammers are more brawler. I'll probably go with a 1-1/4" version of Heritage bars or old school flared out beach bars. I rarely, hear heritage owners complain about the ergonomics of their bars.

What's the vision you see for it?

definitely thinking more brawler look. Small windshield, t-bars, forward controls, chop the fenders a little shorter, and a taller sissy bar for my girl when she rides with me. Also want to go blacked out with minimal chrome if any.

Just start somewhere and see where the road takes you.

What Windshield did you go with? It has an aggressive look to it.

This looks awesome. I don't think I would like a fairing on mine as I like the freedom of taking a windshield off when I want. But the lights, exhaust, and highway pegs make it look awesome.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it at this stage. I'm not sure where it will go from here, but I'm sure I'll keep changing it bit by bit until it's something completely different eventually.

If I remember correctly, Fatken and I are both running the Memphis Shades Bullet fairing. It's quick release, so you could change to a tall windshield, batwing, or remove all together, etc.. in a few seconds.

If you want something different, look for a set of stock 15+ Road Glide bars. I put a set on the better half's 16 Fat Boy S and it it worked well. Looked great, plenty of pull back and wrist angle was perfect for her. Had them powdercoated gloss black. Did have to have a little weld work done - the hole for the wires is in the front on RG bars and had a local weld shop close that up and machine hole in traditional bottom position.

Are those the passing and fog light switches on the side of your console?

Also, what's the breather dangling beneath?

Doh! I should have recognized the switches from my shotgun setup. Nice idea for placement though.
