Right now I am stuck since I have already installed the SE heavy breather I have to go ahead with it. I checked with Revzilla and they don’t have anything for the brake as of now. I have told the dealer to look for longer foot pegs and a large brake pedal pad so that I don’t have to turn my boot inwards to get onto the brake. The other question is should I do the tuning two up or continue with the solo tune which I have done already. Will the inputs differ that much?

I think do the tuning one up but it may not matter.

Incidentally which is a better performance high flow filter for the 107, is it the round high flow or the heavy breather? There is a quite a difference in price between the two with the heavy breather being much more costly. Would be grateful for any inputs.

This one is the highest flowing of the SE units. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ow-air-cleaner

Hammer has a bracket that offsets the AC forward if you scroll down the page. It's not for our bikes, but the idea would work if you had it fabbed up.

I finally changed my cone heavy breather to the round extreme flow heavy breather and what a difference to ride without any hindrance. Incidentally is there a need to tune the bike again since I have already done so for the cone heavy breather. My dealer says there is really no need since the map is the same. However I thought since there is a difference in air intake maybe there is a requirement. Can someone chime in with their thoughts. Will be grateful.

Lots of comparative air cleaner flow tests have been done, and they show that there isn't much of a difference between 'em. As long as it's a good flowing air cleaner, it's probably gonna be comparable to any other good-flowing air cleaner.

Incidentally how often does one tune the bike? Is it after a period of time or after a particular mileage.

You mean with the SmartTune function? You'd use that whenever you change parts on the bike that would mean an updated tune would be necessary.

So -- install the closest calibration you can get, and then run a couple of SmartTune sessions to dial in the tune for your particular bike with its particular components. Then it's tuned, and should stay that way unless and until you change something -- new exhaust, new cams, new A/C, etc. If you make those changes, you repeat the process to dial in the tune for your bike's current configuration.

I have changed my SE cone heavy breather to a SE extreme flow round A/C. I have tuned my Fat Bob for the earlier one. The point is it really required for the round A/C, since it involves removing the seat, connecting the SEPST to the laptop, having it set up, ride for 15 minutes and install the new map. Will it have any significant changes for me to go through the process? I don’t have the automatic tuner. If you go to the SE software the configuration for Stage 1 only states high flow filter and exhaust. It does not specify the type of high flow filter.
