I certainly wouldn't think it would require a retune when changing from one SE A/C to another SE A/C... it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to run another session with the currently-installed parts, but most likely you'd be looking at minimal changes.

Thanks. You are right since I am not finding any noticeable change in performance with the new SE A/C so I will let it rest for a while.

Has anyone installed the automatic tuner? Does it make any significant difference from the SEPST which I am currently using for tuning since it has to operate within ECA norms. I know it has wide band O2 sensors compared with the narrow band ones currently on the bike. Does the additional cost meet the expectations?

There have been multiple people on here with the Automatic Tuning Module. And much discussion. Search the forums for ATM or "Automatic Tuning Module", you should find a few good discussions.

So here's how pretty much every thread on it has gone: people who don't have it, come in and say that it can't possibly work and that it is a complete waste of money, and they offer many reasons to support their position. People who do have it, seem to love it and are very happy with how it works. I don't think we've heard from one person who has it, who has said that it was a waste or that it doesn't work; all the owners seem happy.

So yeah, you'll have to make up your own mind on that. Is it confirmation bias? Or does it actually work? There are strong opinions on both sides.

Let me check with my dealer. He had one piece and no one was taking it. He had offered it to me at a discounted price. If still available and the rate is competitive I might take a shot at it. Thanks

By the way I spoke to the dealer for the automatic tuner. He said that the header pipes have to be removed and rethreaded to install the wide band O2 sensors. For this he does not have the tool and he has to go to a third party lathe workshop. In case something happens then I will have to get the header pipes again to reinstall the original narrow band sensors. All this is making me nervous and I am wondering whether it is worth all the risk and money. I initially thought it was a plug and play model like the FP3 I had on the Street 750. I thought Harley would have have made a simpler product to promote it. Hence there are few takers in this part of the world.
Is there any other way of going about it?

I saw the small red Harley logo lit up in the digital console of the bike. I had not noticed it earlier. After riding about 3 miles it went off. I did not see it again. Is there some problem or is it normal?
