Air cleaner trim

Hi, I need help on removing and replacing the air cleaner trim on my ‘17 Softail Deluxe! I was told that it was just held on by Velcro but it seems like there should be more to it than that....help!

My 16 Deluxe has a opening in the air cleaner trim to allow access to the 5/16 allen head screw holding it together, If this is your case the trim is held on with 2 sided tape.
