I am trying to remove the tank bib from my Slim S, but the nut is galled. The entire bolt just spins and the nut will not come off. How do you get this thing off? It's obviously been over tightened and is a biotch to deal with!!!!!!!!
That bolt is a carriage bolt that is held in place on the fuel pump cover. You may just need to eep upward pressure on the bolt to keep it in the slot. Also it has an open slot on the top so you may be able to slide the bolt forward to free it from the the mount. Lastly try to spin it off with a drill/impact to try and get it off with speed
