Imust have been drunk when I went to the expense of a removable sissy bar, sure seems easy to remove a standard one if you want it off. Now when I look for bags they never seem to work with the removable componts. I know there are brackets out there but can the regular Harley brackets be easily modified or repositioned behind the quick releasepegs and made to work?I only want the bags on when traveling not everyday. 2003 fatboy and V&H pipes. I'm assuming that means the larger Heritige bags are also the way to go.
I use Easy Brackets with my HD removable backrest. The brackets mount to just about any kind of bag. The HD quick reliese backrest is expensive but if you go from 1 up to 2 up three or 4 times a week well worth it. Do a yahoo search for "Easy Brackets"
