I removed the wheel and tire today and go figure, no shop around here is willing to patch the tire for me so it looks like I'm off the road for a bit until the new tire comes in. At least I'm saving about 180 bucks on labor doing the work myself and the HD shop is giving me a 10% discount on the tire so that's a bit better than full price at least! It just sucks not to be able to ride my new bike but that's life so I just gotta suck it up and deal with it. Thanks again everyone for the suggestions and help. I greatly appreciate it.
Seems a bit ridiculous that no one will patch that. Thats clean straight through. A good patch would hold forever.

Yeah that's what I thought but no one wanted anything to do with it at all. Probably a liability thing but every shop I called and the one that actually took a look at it said nope. So the tire is getting ordered by my local HD shop and I'll just pick it up and put it on once It's here. It just blows that I have to replace a brand new tire.

New tire finally came in today. Picked it up at the dealer this afternoon and got everything put back together and back on the road this evening. A couple of weeks not riding felt like a couple of months!
