I'm looking for a frame mounted hitch for my 16 FLSTC. The ones Ive found on line mount to the fender struts between the backrest and the rails which on the newer Softails is not a very ridged support.
Are there hitches available that mount to a more secure area?
I've had a hitch on a Honda, Yamaha and 3 Harleys. They all mounted the same. I have two trailers. One is a utility trailer and the other is a camper. Never had an issue towing either on any of the bikes. I've towed over probably 80,000 and never a problem. Just my experience.
