My 1992 Heritage Classic was suffering from the leather saddle bags sagging due to the plastic stiffener in the front edge of the bag breaking. I went to Lowes and got a piece of aluminum and some stainless steel screws and acorn nuts. I drilled and tapped the aluminum bar, screwed in the bolts and capped them with the acorn nuts.
Well crap, I tossed my broke, sagging, worn out side sacks; had I know something like that would have solved my sac sagging I would have kept them. Been turning my bike into a gangster slowly, but now I want to find another set.
