I have had great success with my 2008 Softail with cams and the FP3. I Installed the Cycle Rama 570-2 cams.
The cams werent listed in the FP3 so I called V&H support. They were able to customize the map for my bike and it runs great.
After a few weeks I called again to ask them to look over my map and see if they could fine tune it even further and they did. That was almost 2 years ago.
I would highly recommend the FP3 with cams.
OTOH if you decide down the road to go stage 3 or 4 you will be better off going with a power vision and a dyno tune.
So v&h emailed back.. Our FP3 servicers are getting maintenance performed on them rightnow, we can not make any changes to the map at this time.
