It always happens with Harleys and in my experience with my other bikes after riding for 10-20 min it goes away with no after effect. However in this case the condensation is so bad it fills half the gauge and stays there for easily over an hour, leaving droplets underneath the glass afterwards. Also while you are riding you can't see the actual speed you are going.

I've been having the same problem on my 2018 FXFBS. When the light hits it at the right angle, makes the bottom half of the gauge unreadable.

Mine's going for it's 10k service tomorrow, and I'll tell them about my speedo, and the rattling gas cap.

Did you have that moment of "maybe it's the angle I'm looking at my gauges?" I couldn't read them at all then I realized what it was...awesome...

Angry Harley will not honor Warranty !

I have moisture in my speedo and the dealer told me to park it in the sun. I have for several hours and no change. How do I get Harley to stand behind the warranty promise?

How many times have you walked outside and you glasses fogged over? No difference with that speedo lens, different ambient temps do that.

Yup, mine too. I've ridden when the temps were cooler than usual or occasionally on a foggy day and my speedo lens would get moisture on it too. After I rode for awhile and every thing heated up a little, the moisture went away.

Rattling gas cap was an issue for most, it was a 2 month back order item at that time for me. Today parts are still 10 days for the dealer to recieve once ordered.
I said screw it, and bought an upgrade set. Somewhere close to $100
