So I've been looking for a solo seat and I think I've landed on a Saddlemen Renegade LS. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these seats, more specifically on the 18 Fat Bob.
I have a Renegade Solo on order for my 2018 Fat Bob, they say it should ship out next week, so ... gimme a week and I may have something to report. Mine is slightly different as it's not the LS (which appears to be just a difference of whether it's quilted or not). I also ordered a custom cover, so that may invalidate my report, but I think the seat itself is going to be exactly the same, just the actual cover would be different.
My runner-up was the Mustang. It looks more like the Fat Bob stock seat, and is probably more comfortable, but ... in the end, I think it looks too big. The Saddlemen seems to follow the lines of a true solo seat better. The Mustang looked more like the Sundowner that I already have. So, I guess it depends on what you're looking for from a solo seat, if ultimate touring comfort is the most important goal then the Mustang might be the better choice (just from the looks of it; I haven't tried it). Saddlemen claims great comfort, they even describe the Renegade solo as a touring seat, so ... I'm optimistic but will know more in a week or so.

I contacted Saddlemen through FaceBook and they should be sending me a few pictures of their solo seats mounted on a 18 Fat Bob. I'm also interested in their Knuckler seat. Regardless, I appreciate your response and look forward to seeing your seat.
