FX vs FL fork lowers - interchangable?

Would the fork lowers from an FL fit on an FX? I have an '09 FXSTC that I'm trying to find a set of lowers to possibly powder coat, and having trouble finding the exact part. I don't think the '07 or earlier would work from the research I have done. My originals have been chromed and I don't want to mess with those, so I thought I'd try to get a set on the cheap and get coated. Ebay seems to favor the FL style lowers as there are more available, and some of the ads just mention "fits 2007-up softail" without mentioning FL or FX and I don't necessarily want to take that as truth. thx in advance...

They will fit but hey aren't going to work with the fender you already have (meaning the fxst) without an adapter. You may also have to respace your front wheel
