Default Deuce foot controls

Bought an 01 Deuce and the previous owner was quite a bit taller than me and had moved the stock foot controls including the pegs even further forward than stock. I need to get them back to stock but don't know which parts are available and can't easily get the bike to a shop. Any info on how they were equipped from the factory and what options I have would be very helpful

Post a picture of the current set up. Did the previous owner use plates (Arlen Ness) to move the controls forward ore use genuine extended forward controls.
Once this is determined then you can be pointed in the right direction to rectify this issue.
Either way the parts will be easy to obtain.

I am 6'2" and have the opposite problem. The foot pegs on my '06 Deuce are way too close. I bought the kit to move the pegs three inches forward, but haven't found the time to install it. Cold weather is coming, so there will be plenty of time to work on it then!

Post a pic of your current set up. I may be interested in your set up, depending on what it is. -- Never mind it wont fit my 07...

I will load a few as soon as I can. Thanks for your help and attention to my issue. This is a 3" extension from what he told me. I don't know if everything needs replacing or just the mounting brackets but maybe the pictures will help. I'll get them up shortly

Yes mine has the 3" extension kit. I just don't know what it included and what it will take to get it back to where it was. I'll get some photos up soon

I might be willing to sell you my old brackets, once I slap on my extension kit. PM me.
