Default Weird: Never seen this before

Hopped on the '17 Fatboy S this morning, cranked her up, let it warm up a bit, put it in first gear and twist the throttle.

Nothing.

It won't go. I'm thinking there's a TBW problem, some sensor or something. I know there's been people with TBW problems. I read dozens of forum posts.

But, I also notice my low fuel light is on. That's weird because I could have sworn I had gas in the tank. There's also a warning light blinking in the bottom right of the speedo.

So I'm thinking there's a problem there. I put at least two gallons of fresh premium in the tank. Let it sit for a few minutes. It starts up fine, idles fine, but the low fuel light is still on and so is that blinking warning light at the bottom right of the speedo. When I put it in gear, I still get no response.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Did you change the handlebars or ANY of the controls?

When I had a suspected TBW problem on my '14 Ultra (the dealership would not confirm that was the problem and since they handled it under warranty I didn't give it a second thought) my "check engine" light came on.

I had the dealer put on my old ape-hangers from my trade-in Fatboy back when I bought the bike. That was part of the deal. That was about a year and a half ago. No problems since. Except for now.

If you get no response when you think you put it in gear, it is probably clutch related. Check your owner's manual and find out what that blinking warning light indicates.

It should still be under warranty if its less then 2years old, let them fix it. Just curious, Does it stall if you let out the clutch?

No, it doesn't stall. It's like the throttle isn't even connected.

There's a good chance it's not conneted. I had same exact thing happen on mine after I pulled wires to mount a power point. Problem is the connector is under the tank. Took a few minutes but got the tank pushed back far enough to click connector back in. I had unadvertantly unplugged the connector. There's also a connection inside your handlebars.

Try pulling the main fuse and letting it sit for a few minutes, then put the fuse back in and see what happens. Costs nothing and may reset things.

I'm guessing a TBW connection problem inside the bars. The bike is under warranty and the dealer did the bars change; they own all of your problems.
