Default 2018 Fatboy headlight fail??

...or at least I thought it had.

There just doesn't seem to be enough length in the wiring harness to get around the steering neck and up to the light. I plugged the connector back in but turn the steering lock to lock and it just yanks the connector right out of the light again. Not sure when this happened I'm not normally out at night.

I'll take it in to the dealer to fix but anyone else had this?

Sounds like your power cable to it is just too short or pulled short by it being cable tied to another wire, perhaps?

You'll probably want to make sure they replace the cable, or at least the connector on the headlight end. There's a locking tab (or tabs) on it and if you've been yanking it out repeatedly it's likely snapped off.

Will do, although the tab doesn't seem to be broken, it "clips" back in.

There must be a loop under the tank somewhere ...I'll let them worry about finding it
