Help on purchase
I Have finally come to the conclusion I have to buy a Harley. As I have never owned a Harley I come here to ask for a little help. I have narrowed my choice down to getting a Fat Boy and have seen a lot of the 2003's out there for sale. Any advise would be appreciated.

So much depends on your preferences. I have had 3 HDs (Fat Boy, Deuce, and now Street Glide). They are all different in ride, handling, and appearance. I loved them all, and each had it own advantages.
For handling, I liked the Deuce best. It was the most responsive.
The Fat Boy fit me best (I am short). I was able to reach ground easily.
The Street Glide is by far the most comfortable, and has the storage capacity, fairing, stereo, room for 2, etc.
What type of riding will you do? Around town or long distance?

Now if you were interested in an 03 SE Deuce of the CVO type, I could help you out there, It's even lowered from the factory too with all the upgrades from the factory.
Fat boys are a nice bike too.

The MOCO extended the production of the 03's into mid 04 and stuck it to everybody that wanted an anniversary bike. Figgures. I bought mine because I liked that particular bike and model and not because it was an anniversary model. There was 2950 of my bike made for 03.
