Maria, you can have your stock seat reworked for far less money than buying the reach seat. If you do a search on here, there are several different shops that people use or better yet find someone local to you. They can usually modify it to suit your needs and replace the original cover. You can only tell the difference if you look at it side by side with an unmodified one. This is also a good time to consider any memory foam or gel inserts since they have the seat apart anyway. I'm gonna reshape my stock seat and add memory foam as soon as I get some free time from making other people's seats.

I'll chime in on the HD Reach Seat...I bought it to go on my '07 Deluxe, as I wanted to be moved a bit further forward. After 100 miles, I took it off and put the stock seat back on (with the added Springer Rail and backrest). The Reach Seat is hard as a rock and hurt my tailbone after only a few miles. I'd lower the bike and rework the stock seat...with all that said, anyone want a barely used Reach Seat for a reasonable price?
