I told the seller they were asking more than the bluebook value of $8500, they wanted $9500. He kept saying it only has 314 miles, and I kept saying yeah but it's 12 years old and still on the original tires LOL. We met in the middle between bluebook and asking price, it was later thumbing through a parts catalog that I realized how much money he had in accessories, but that's often the case where the buyer doesn't have to pay what the original owner did, it's a used bike and accessories don't often add value.
Yep she's definitely a keeper.

Great find.
I'd seriously consider getting new tires if they're 12 years old, regardless of how much tread is left on them.

Thanks all, it's parked for the winter now and new tires are on my agenda, sometime next spring. I've put about 120 miles on it since the purchase and I kept thinking this may be only its third or fourth tank of gas in its lifetime. She will definitely see some miles next year.

Love it! Bought my 2k Heritage in ‘14 with 347 miles. Now has about 12k and never any probs. FIRST thing I did was put new rubber on. Enjoy!
