Ok it's not that old, nor rare nor really valuable but this '06 Fatboy was on the market section of Facebook and after about a month of looking at the ad I finally inquired about it. What piqued my interest so much is that despite it being 12 years old it only had 314 actual miles.
The seller said it was his brother in-laws bike and described him as a bit like "rain man", he loved the bike and accessorizing it (it has Willie skulls everywhere) but was afraid to ride it, other than taking it to the dealer for the yearly fluid changes. At any rate it's mine now and thought I'd introduce my self to the soft tail forum as I've already done the new member intro.
