Default ignition key
I have lost my key for my 2004 Softail duce. Can anybody help. Is there a way for a locksmith to make one, can i replace it with a differnt one. how can i find out what the key number is.

Others may know more, but I think a Harley dealer can get the info from the VIN and order a replacement key.

Your local neighborhood HD Dealer will be the way to go. How do we or anyone else for that matter know you're just not trying to jack a bike that you saw last night!

you lost both keys.

HD dealership can get you replacement, you will need to prove ownership!! and then hang on to your wallet!! I bought a bike once with no keys and the dealership charged me $55

For future reference.....

Under the black plastic cover of the key, is the key number. With that number, you can get a replacement/extra key from any HD dealer....

I know you lost your key, but when you get a new one, make sure to write it down...

I take a pic of all my bike keys, and keep them with the bike papers....

Here's a pic from a bike I recently sold ....

Just a word of advice...

If you lost the only key you had then buy TWO replacement keys.
