A lot of times the key number is written on the inside cover of the owners manual by the dealership. I understand that a lot of folks buy a bike and have a missing key or key fob but I would just get a new key kit in that situation that way I have a new ignition switch and fork lock setup (I don't trust PO who may still have the key).
