Need some input
I'm looking into a low mileage 2006 carbureted Softail Standard, is there anything I need to know and look out for on the 2006 model year?
I've heard about the 2006 inner primary bearing problems on the Dynas, does the inner primary bearing failure also affect the 2006 Softail models, particularly the Standard?
My memory isn't the greatest but seem to recall hearing something about engine heat issues. Was that on 2006 model and/or 2007 models. Was that on all those model year bikes or just the fuel injected models?
It's a TC88B have there ever been any issues with the balancer chain or chain guides? Is the B version noticeably smoother than the non balanced TC88"s
The 200mm rear tire bikes have a narrower drive belt than pre 2006 models, how do these narrower drive belts hold up? What is the recommended mileage for belt replacement?

If you like the bike just buy it and don't worry about all that stuff... The only thing, if I remember correctly, that gets overlooked and you should check if you do buy it, is the cam chain tensioners.
