Its your bike, who cares what other people think. It should be a expression of you and what you want. You could go with the mini boards and not have to replace your controls. That being said, I am probably going to put a set of meat hangers from brass ***** or a pedal style from joker machine shop.

Also, not to stray from my OP, but where do I look to learn how to post pix? AND, lol, can somebody post some links to some miniboards you're talking about? I didn't realize that if I went with full size I'd hafta replace shifter and pedal either? That run into ALOT of money prolly.

Not a Breakout, but a Fat Bob. I considered doing the whole swap for floorboards, but never went through with it. Instead, I got some footpeg-replacement mini floorboards from Thrashin' Supply. No changing out mounts, no need to change shifter or brake lever or anything, and I absolutely love them. Dramatic increase in comfort. And can be swapped back to footpegs in about 30 seconds if you want.

In my opinion, they don't fit the look of the bike and I'm guessing you already know that or you wouldn't be asking us. I have an '18 Breakout also and what appealed to me about the bike was it's sleek look. I think footboards on something like a Fat Boy works, which is why they are standard equipment on that model. I'm curious if you are wearing motorcycle boots with stiff soles. They are much more comfortable when it comes to not feeling the narrow foot peg in the arch of your feet.
