Has anyone changed the stock FLSTC pillion with the HD Heritage Style pillion? Stock annoys my back, Heritage style looks like it probably sits back a little farther. Like the look of the Heritage style but doubt my dealer has it in stock to try. And yes, I've looked around at other options as well as replacing the stock Heritage seat, but would rather not do that.
I also have a 2014 Heritage and I changed the stock pillion to the Heritage Classic Touring Passenger Pillion in an effort to resolve the same issue you are experiencing with the stock pillion.
It's a big improvement.
The leading edge of the stock pillion dug into my back when riding and in a short time my back was sore. The leading edge of the Heritage Touring Pillion is cut at a 45 degree angle and no longer digs into my back. My wife also likes the Touring Pillion because it is wider and more comfortable for her. The Heritage Classic Touring Passenger Pillion was a good purchase for me.
I purchased the "touring pillion" and my Wife hated it.
It slopes to the front which would cure the issue you're having but every time I hit the brakes my Wife would slide forward.
It got to the point that she was getting marks on her inner thighs due to having to flex her legs against the studs.
I went with a Signature Series seat which both my Wife and I both like very much not to mention it has a removable driver's back rest.

Thanks. I almost never ride two up (and bought a new Sportster for my wife when I bought my bike in case she wants to ride). So I'm hoping the Heritage pillion doesn't jab my back in which case I'll be happy with it.
