Error cod. b2161 Pn 69993-11

I have the 2011 softail heritage that is giving me BCM y on the motorcycle panel error b2161 - Pn 69993-11, where this module is installed and what should I do to fix the problem. thank you very much

What little time I spent researching these codes, it seems to be lighting related.
Do all of your turnsignals & running/stop/etc lights work ? or are any
of them burned out ?

Hi, after arriving and cleaning all the connections, I found that the (positive) cable had the screw loose. I put a new battery which worked normally.

I am having a similar issue. I ride a 2016 Softail Heritage Classic and I receive the B2161 error code coupled with the PN69993-11. I've read is break light related. However, all lights do work. I've cleared the error code but after a few miles of riding, the red light comes up. I've also read that if you switch light bulbs to a non-hd brand you'll get the same error code and it would have to be "fixed" by the HD technician (something about the computer doesn't recognize non-HD light bulbs), which is BS. All light bulbs are HD brand.
So, in summary, error code B2161, all lights are working. Comments?

I have a Breakout 2014 and getting error code B2161 with brake lights not working - physically checked the wiring and don't see any wire breakage. Getting a red light on the meter!!! any suggestions
